Scott Hastings

Retired rugby union player and sports speaker, Scott Hastings is a charismatic addition to a wide range of events. Considered to be a "Scottish national treasure", Scott presents at corporate events as an after-dinner speaker. Scott is the most capped centre three quarter with 65 caps, and has played in 51 Internationals with his brother and fellow rugby speaker - proving that talent runs in his family. The brothers were renowned for their formidable teamwork and title as the only siblings to have played in a British Lions Test match together. In 1986 at the age of 21, Scott made his debut appearance with Scotland, playing against France. He dominated as their centre until 1997.

Prior to his retirement, Scott captained The Barbarians in 1993, while playing in 10 of the 14 World Cup games with Scotland.
