A member of the armed forces from the age of 16, Jason Fox served ten years with the Royal Marines Commandos before then passing the formidable Special Forces Selection.
Spending a further ten years with the Special Boat Service, Jason worked in a number of intimidating locations around the world in his role of Sergeant. Operations embarked on during this period included hostage rescue, body guarding, counter terrorism and counter insurgency to name but a few, with Jason excelling in his role and successfully leading his team.
With skills that included being a demolitions expert, trained combat swimmer and jungle survival specialist, Jason left the Special Forces in 2012. After experiencing working within the corporate sector and security industry, Jason stepped into the world of TV and film in 2015 where he assisted production crews who were working within hostile environments such as deserts, jungles and the Arctic.
His vast experience, which included being a part of the team of divers who discovered the treasure of Captain Kidd off the coast of Madagascar, lead to him being called upon for the Channel 4 series, SAS: Who Dares Wins. After helping to create the course the participants would follow over the weeks, he was one of the instructors who then put the delegates through the Special Forces training process.
