International Men's Day Speakers
Taking place on the 19th of November 2020 across at least 60 countries, International Men’s Day was founded in 1999 to honour men in the same way International Women’s Day does on the 8th of March. Often coinciding with ‘Movember’, where moustaches are grown to raise awareness of male health issues, the aim of both events is to champion males and support them in the challenges they face.
At Champions Speakers we have a plethora of impressive speakers for International Men’s Day, that embody the six pillars of the event, outlined in the International Men's Day Objectives. These include:
- To promote positive male role models,
- To celebrate men’s positive contributions to society,
- To focus on men’s health and wellbeing,
- To highlight discrimination against men,
- To improve gender relations and promote gender equality,
- To create a safer, better world
At corporate events, our International Men’s Day Speakers aren’t just beneficial to the males in the room. They give actionable advice to employers wanting to support male struggles in the workplace, opening a conversation on male mental health and creating genuine gender equality.
Often told to ‘man up’, our International Men’s Day speakers challenge the damaging image of macho men, and instead use their personal stories to inspire individuals to open up. With 76% of all suicides being male, it's more important now than ever to actively support the men in society. Able to create a long-lasting impact on your audience, International Men’s Day speakers are available via Champions Speakers to instigate positive change today.
