English theatre and television actor Jack Ellis is best known for his role as the prison officer, Jim Fenner in the ITV series Bad Girls, the younger brother of Poledark’s Robin Ellis and director Peter Ellis.

Born in London Jack Ellis is known for his ability to play villainous and unpleasant characters and has worked as an actor in Coronation Street playing the underhand bookmaker Harry Mason. As well as his television work Jack Ellis is also known as a theatre actor and has appeared in a variety of stage productions from pantomime to Shakespeare.

As a stage actor Ellis has starred alongside the likes of Rob Lowe, John Barrowman and Kevin Spacey in productions of A Few Good Men, Great Expectations and Richard III.
