Beric was born and raised in London’s Soho and trained in musical theatre at Guildford School of Acting.
He was the frontman of indie bands The Healing Fields and Playing Nervous during the noughties, performing at venues and festivals all over the UK and Europe including London’s O2 Academy Islington, The Astoria, The Garage and The Clapham Grand. He has remixed and produced in various musical styles, composed for stage and film, created bespoke tracks for performers and teaching institutions, and was asked to write music and lyrics for a rock opera based on the life of King Ludwig II of Bavaria. Beric set up the recording and production studio Livingstone Sound, from where he continues to compose, arrange, and produce.
As an actor, Beric has appeared in a wide range of theatre productions as well as in radio plays, audiobooks and in television and short films. In 2016 he devised and presented the Random Roads Music Project, a 13,000-mile road trip across the United States, working with local musicians to record a song for Amnesty International. More recently he has been one of the hosts for HQ Trivia, the most popular live quiz app in the UK, named as one of 2018’s 50 Most Genius Companies by Time Magazine.
Beric narrated the audiobook Gorilla and Okapi, by Nick Corbett, released in 2018.
