Pete Cohen is a keynote speaker and motivational figure, who tours the speaking circuit sharing his strategies on mental resilience. Pete connects with his audience on a personal level, eliciting both laughter and self-reflection with his story of growth. Having spent years perfecting his range of topics, there are few motivational speakers like Pete. Pete's first experience of performing was at a young age when he decided to dedicate his life to the stage. His dream was cut short when his undiagnosed dyslexia cost Pete roles in his school productions, as he struggled to read and remember his lines.
Upon leaving school with no qualifications, Pete found himself unsure of what to do with his life. He knew that he wanted to be in front of people, so when he found a passion for exercise Pete turned his hand to leading aerobics classes instead. Pete's experience of adversity has shaped him into the speaker he is today, as he developed skills in adapting to challenges.
From there, he completed a course in sports science, to later become a personal trainer. Whilst Pete spent a large portion of his time in the gym, he noticed that people were lacking the motivation to continue working out - this inspired him to study psychology. After offering his class motivational advice, one of the participants asked him to speak at their event, which sparked Pete's love of public speaking.
Pete presents with a simple philosophy; “If you want to get better, just keep asking yourself: how far can I go, how good can I be. That’s what I do every day – and I’m still learning. What I do is a gift and a privilege and I want to share that gift with the world every single day". He is driven by the desire "to inspire people to accomplish far more than they ever thought possible", and specialises in leadership and human potential. As a speaker, Pete is renowned for his ability to re-energise a team and increase productivity. He is even noted as the force behind Ronnie O'Sullivan's second World Championship success.

"Pete was a superb keynote speaker! He took a great deal of time prior to the conference undertaking his due diligence as to what we at New leaf required from him. After exploring one avenue, he did not mind in the slightest taking a full U-turn and developing a more appropriate theme for our business. The personal service form him was gratefully received. He was punctual and he stayed at the event for questions and photographs long after the scheduled time allocation as per contract. This too was greatly received.
