Andy Haldane is revered for his tenure as the Chief Economist of the Bank of England, overseeing the economics of the 300+-year-old bank and spending an incredible 31 years working for the Bank of England. In addition to his duties as the CEO of The RSA, Andy has also acted as the Chairman of the Leadership Council of National Numeracy, an Honorary Professor of the University of Nottingham, an Honorary Professor of the University of Manchester, a Fellow of The Royal Society, an Honorary Professor of the University of Exeter and a Visiting Professor at King’s College London. Most recently, Andy has dedicated time to being a Contributing Editor of the Financial Times, and being the Chairman of the Levelling Up Advisory Council of the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.
