Ola Jordan is a professional dancer, best known for entertaining audiences on the set of Strictly Come Dancing. Married to another professional dancer, James Jordan, Ola has committed almost a decade to professional dancing and has been dancing since she was just 12 years old. She first began dancing at a dance club in school, dancing in her native country of Poland with John Lowicki. It was evident from a young age that Ola possessed a great talent for dancing, claiming the win at the 1999 Poland Open Championships.
In 2000 Ola made her first debut with British partner James Jordan at the 2000 Dutch Open. With rigorous training and practice, Ola and James turned professional in 2003 and have since gone on to compete in several competitions. They have claimed victories such as a second place in the 2006 Blackpool Professional Rising Stars Latin event and third in the 2006 British Championships for Professional Latin. Finding a passion for Latin American dances, Ola and Jordan took a brief period out of competitive dancing to teach others the style in Hong Kong.
It was in 2006 that Ola made her debut as a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing, first partnering with television personality DJ Spoony. Wowing audiences with her talents, Ola continued to be a professional dancer on the programme until 2015. Along the course of her time on the programme, Ola has consistently scored highly with her dance partners, with her highest recorded score a 40. She was also lucky to claim the Strictly Glitterball trophy in 2009 alongside Chris Hollins. She also won the Children In Need 2010 Special of Strictly, dancing alongside Harry Judd from band McFly.
On Strictly, Ola was fortunate to dance with some of the biggest stars. Her dance partners have included Andrew Castle, Chris Hollins, Robbie Savage, Ashley Taylor Dawson, Steve Backshall and Iwan Thomas. Her time on the renowned show made Ola a fan favourite, and she has since been sought to appear on other programmes. She has also appeared on Total Wipeout, Bargain Hunt, Celebrity Coach Trip and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! She has also been invited to judge competitions, having previously acted as a judge on Dancing On Wheels and Dancing With The Stars: Taniec z gwiazdami, the Polish version of Strictly Come Dancing.
Today, Ola is highly sought as entertainment for events, performing her talented dance acts to create unforgettable evenings.
