From a young age, Luke excelled at playing darts, with his first major wins claimed at the 2019 England Youth Grand Prix and the Isle of Man Masters Youth Competition. His winning streak continued into 2020, defending titles and winning two titles in the JDC Tour. In 2021, Luke impressively won the Youth Title at the England Open, before finishing in second place at the 2021 British Pentathlon. Proving his excellence in darts, Luke advanced to senior level, winning his first senior title aged 14 having defeated Barry Copeland at the Irish Open. Starting 2022 successfully, Luke claimed victory at the JDC Super 16, before winning three Gold medals at the 2022 WDF Europe Cup Youth and two Gold medals at the WDF Europe Cup.

Other prominent wins of Luke’s include winning the JDC World Darts Championship and two wins of the MODUS Super Series. In addition, in 2023, Luke became the winner of the 2023 PDC World Youth Championship, having beaten Gian van Veen 6-4 to take home the victory. With his most recent performance at the 2024 PDC World Darts Championships, Luke also claimed two darts records – setting the record for the highest average for a debutant in the World Darts Championships and for being the youngest winner. Luke impressively defeated his opposition in the Semifinal of the 2024 WDC, progressing to the Final on the 3rd of January 2024, where he was unfortunately defeated by opposition Luke Humphries.
