Founder of leading interior design and architecture firm Celia Sawyer Interior Design in London, Celia has decades of experience working on private and commercial projects for a range of clients, she has even delivered projects for the Saudi Arabian Royal family. In 2017 Celia worked for the Royal Navy where she designed the warrant officer’s mess on HMS Queen Elizabeth a truly unique and rewarding design project that few are trusted with. Her career began over 25 years ago when she began working on her small projects, before branching out and completing projects around London. She worked her way into being one of the best in her field. She now completes projects on superyachts, private planes and properties and leisure projects worldwide. She has a phenomenal eye for detail, and is often called upon to judge design competitions – She is also an official judge for the International Property Awards, and the International Hotel Awards and is a member of the Society of British and International Interior Design.
Over the years Celia has won several awards for her work, in 2014 she won the Inspiration Awards for Women and has also been voted in the top 100 Most influential Business Entrepreneurs in the UK by Richtopia. Alongside that, she was voted as one of the top 250 Women leaders Of The World. In 2018 Celia was listed as one of the top 10 Interior Designers in the World. She also writes for Hello! Magazine, she has been featured in Ulster Tatler Interiors and is an active contributor to the Mail Online and The Huffington Post.
Celia is also an active patron of several charities, lending her expertise and voice to speak on behalf of those less fortunate. She is an ambassador for the Prince’s Trust, a Global Goodwill Ambassador, a Patron for The Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, Women’s Refuge, a board advisor for Football for Peace, and an Ambassador for the British Heart Foundation.
