Carolyn Dawson

Carolyn Dawson is CEO of the Founders Forum Group – a platform that encourages the exchange of ideas related to technology amongst a global community. Along with Brent Hoberman, Carolyn offers entrepreneurs and innovators advise and support, helping them through every stage of their entrepreneurial journeys. With educational qualifications from the University of Edinburgh and Henley Business School, Carolyn began her career as a Senior Analyst & Reporter for Informa Telecoms & Media. After holding Managing Director positions at IIR Telecoms and KNect365 TMT, Carolyn assumed responsibility as President of Informa Tech – an FTSE 100 UK company. In this role, she worked on the automotive, telecoms, media, gaming, manufacturing and technology sectors, developing strategies for growth and scaling. Since 2016, she has been at the forefront of the technology sector, as Founding Partner of London Tech Week. She was appointed OBE for her services to London Tech Week, technology and digital media in 2022.

Other prominent roles held by Carolyn include Member of the Digital Economy Council where she contributes to the development of a globally recognised digital economy that works to everyone’s benefit. She is also current a Board Member for Grip, Founders Makers, RM plc and 01 Founders. Carolyn’s efforts to nurture an inclusive tech community is evident from her ventures.
