TV Personality & Star of Love Actually

Martine is best known for her award-winning role as Tiffany Mitchell in the hugely popular BBC’s EastEnders. Martine is also recognised for her successful musical, film and stage career.

Martine has always been an entertainer from a young age, at only fifteen she was part of a all-girl group called Milan. Along with two other pupils she landed a record contract with Polydor and a gig touring as a warm up act for boy band East 17. Landing three singles into the top ten dance charts, Is It Love You’re After, Affectionately Mine and Lead Me On with the last one making it into the top 100 of the Uk Singles Chart.

Martine became recognised nationally after her role in EastEnders and in 2003 following her major role in Love Actually where she appeared as tea-lady Natalie. This was a huge career highlight for Martine getting to work alongside Hugh Grant, Bill Nighy, Emma Thompson and Liam Neeson. Martine has become a regular TV personality after becoming a regular panellist on the ITV daytime show Loose Women along with becoming a judge for the second series of ITV1’s Soapstar Superstar.

Martine returned to the music industry with the release of her debut studio album in 1999, entitled You Me & Us. Her debut album had huge success peaking at number two in the UK charts receiving a platinum certification. She then went on to release a number one single Perfect Moment along with a further two certified gold singles.

Martine’s contribution to entertainment has gained her many awards and notices throughout her career such as Empire Magazine’s Best Actress Award and MTV’s Best Transatlantic Breakthrough award. Her role in EastEnders saw her win the 1997 National Television Award and her role in Love Actually won her the 2004 Empire Award and 2004 MTV Movie Award.
