Denise Lewis has enjoyed a decorated career as an athlete and sports presenter, best known for claiming Olympic Gold and being a World Champion in the Heptathlon. Renowned for her talents as a track and field athlete, one of Denise’s greatest achievements was when she claimed Gold at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. Having achieved Bronze at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, Denise strived that little bit harder to top the leader boards and claim the winning title just four years later. Other prominent victories of Denise’s include winning Gold at the 1994 and 1998 Commonwealth Games and being the European Heptathlon Champion in 1998. She has also achieved Silver at the World Championships, in 1997 and 1999, along with claiming a Gold medal at the European Cup in 1995 and a Silver medal at the European Cup in 2003. Retiring from athletics, Denise never truly left the great sporting world behind, going on to become an Athletics Pundit for the BBC.
