Gabby Logan

Gabby Logan, is the face of British sports, having forged success as a popular television presenter, BBC radio host and former gymnast. She can commonly be found at the forefront of the latest match, race or competition, offering her valuable insight in a witty, likeable manner. Host of Final Score until 2013 and the BBC's Sports Personality of the Year, Gabby is greatly respected within the world of sport. Gabby leaves a lasting impression at events, inspiring an interest in sport with her infectious passion. Whether she is booked as an event host, special guest or sports speaker, Gabby's unrivalled prominence in the world of sport resonates with audiences.

Gabby continues to present at the peak of British sport, most notably, as the main host of Athletics for BBC Sport. As one of the first female sports presenters in the country, she is paving the way for a more inclusive industry, by encouraging more young women to venture into sports broadcasting. In her early career, working with ITV, she was one of the only female sports presenters on terrestrial television. She reported on such pinnacle events as the 2003 Australia Rugby World Cup, the diving talent show, Splash! When booked for events, she reflects upon her first-hand insight into sports' greatest moments.

Upon moving to the BBC, Gabby presented BBC Sport from 2007, Final Score from 2009 and Match of the Day, which she continues to work closely on. Additional competitions that have benefitted from Gabby's input include the 2005 and 2006 UEFA Champions League, the 2014 Commonwealth Games, the 2016 Invictus Games and the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. From World Cups to World Championships, there are few competitions that Gabby hasn't graced with her knowledge! As a sports speaker, she employs the same expertise for audiences. Most recently, Gabby was a commentator at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, commentating alongside Jessica Ennis-Hill and Denise Lewis.

When Gabby isn't presenting on screen, she is a writer for The Times, and President of the life-changing charity, Muscular Dystrophy UK. She is credited for the success of Tesco's Farm to Fork initiative, and has been the Non-Executive Director of Perform Group since 2012. With such an influential career, it is no surprise that Gabby has been honoured with several awards, including the Sports Presenter of the Year four times. Additional nominations include Most Popular Entertainment Presenter at the 2014 National Television Awards and Sports Presenter, Commentator or Pundit at the 2014 Royal Television Society Awards.

Thanks to the success of her presenting roles, Gabby has become a popular TV personality, appearing on a wealth of mainstream shows including The One Show, The Wright Stuff, Live with Gabby and The Edge. Recently Gabby was awarded an MBE in the 2020 New Year Honours, recognising her services to both sports broadcasting and promoting women in sport.
