
Environment speaker and climate change expert Dr. Tara Shine has been researching the effects of climate change on the world for over a decade, with a BSc in Environmental Science and a PhD in Geography, Tara is an experienced and passionate after dinner speaker. Thanks to her scientific background Dr Tara Shine has worked as a researcher and environment on a number of global and political projects, she has been an integral part of the climate change negotiations since 2003 and is a member of the Irish, Dutch and Luxembourg negotiation teams.
She has worked as an environment speaker for the European Union, presenting research findings and helping to negotiate terms with various governments. As well as working as an environment speaker Dr Shine also works for the CMRC and is the Head of Research and Development at The Mary Robinson Foundation - Climate Justice.
Dr Shine’s work as an environment speaker has been integral to the development of some of the EU’s biggest climate change laws and her research has contributed a great deal to the global understanding of climate change. Tara Shine has worked as a technical advisor and environment speaker for almost fifteen years and in her time has witnessed a variety of world changing legislations and been part of several ground-breaking research teams. Shine continues to work as an after dinner speaker and environmental lobbyist as well as remaining actively involved in global and scientific research.
