Since departing from Tesla, Eberhard has continued to make an impact as an engineer and entrepreneur, acting as the Entrepreneur in Residence at Mayfield Fund, and Director of Electric Vehicles Development at Volkswagen Group. Alongside a number of advisory positions, Eberhard partnered with former Tesla co-founder, Marc Tarpenning, to invest in meaningful start ups, similar to Eberhard’s ambitions with green energy vehicles. Most recently he has founded Tiveni, a start up of which he is the CEO and Chairman operating in Silicon Valley, which promises to bring exciting new developments in environmental energy.
