Suzi Payton is one of the UK’s most influential and dynamic female entrepreneurs as well as a comedian, author and ADHD & Neurodiversity coach. She is now dedicating her time to helping make the world a better place for neurodivergent people, and as a motivational speaker is sparking change.
Suzi’s career began as a secondary school teacher for 17 years, and then a comedian for 15. Her career then took a change in direction and she became a vocal advocate for neurodivergent individuals. As a late-diagnosed autistic and ADHDer, she now uses her real-life experiences to change the way that society views those who are neurodivergent. Suzi transforms lives through comedy and coaching individuals and businesses by educating them on how to be more inclusive, and providing strategies for fostering a neurodiversity-friendly environment, as well as encouraging neurodivergent individuals to feel confident and to be their true, unapologetic selves. She also aims to show people how they can support their friends and colleagues to thrive and not just survive.
Combining her experience as a comedian and neurodivergent coach, Suzi hosts an inclusive event called ‘ADHD The Experience’ for and by neurodivergent people, providing a unique and educational experience. Suzi offers a unique insight that she has previously shared with the YMCA, American Express, and Turning Tides. She is also the co-author of ‘Where do I Start? How to navigate life as a late-discovered autistic adult’. The book is due to be published in 2025.
Suzi has a wealth of experience from her past career working with autistic children, and supporting them and their families as well as her time teaching. As a motivational keynote speaker, Suzi draws on these experiences as well as discussing the UK Education System and neurodiversity. Suzi stands as a bridge between divergent neurological worlds by illustrating the neurodiverse landscape for those on the outside looking in. Suzi’s educational keynote speeches leave the audience feel they have gained power back in their lives and allow some members to accept and understand themselves more.
