Stacey Copeland is a respected presenter and commentator whose remarkable sporting career saw her compete as both a professional footballer and a professional boxer. As a footballer, she represented England's U18s and played in the Women's Premier League. Her time as a boxer saw her win a European silver medal and become the first British woman to win the Commonwealth title. Stacey is also a highly sought-after keynote speaker, who delivers talks on sports, mental resilience, and peak performance.
Playing football, Stacey achieved remarkable milestones, including competing in the Women's Premier League and playing professionally in America, Brazil, and Sweden. An equally talented boxer, Stacey won a European silver medal before becoming a full-time professional. In 2018, she made history by becoming the first British woman to win the Commonwealth boxing title. Since retiring from sport, Stacey has built a successful career in broadcasting as a boxing commentator, as well as a radio and TV presenter for the BBC, ITV, and Sky Sports. In 2025, she became the first female ever to commentate on boxing on BBC 5Live.
Passionate about breaking barriers and encouraging the next generation, she founded Pave The Way. The charity challenges gender stereotypes associated with girls, boys, men and women and champions equal opportunities for all. Stacey also raised awareness in the documentary 'Game On', which aired on Netflix and Sky and explored women's sport and the unique challenges faced by female athletes.
An experienced public speaker, Stacey has spoken at the European Parliament, the United Nations, and delivered two TED talks titled 'Why Gender Should Never Be a Barrier to Human Potential' and 'A Fighter’s Guide to Performance Anxiety'.
