Natasha Jonas is an incredibly talented professional boxer, who made headlines as the first British female boxer in history to qualify for the Olympics. A Two-Weight World Champion, Natasha has held the unified WBC and WBO female light-middleweight titles since 2022. Enjoying an immensely successful amateur career, Natasha claimed titles such as Gold at the 2009 Women’s European Union Amateur Boxing Championships and Gold at the inaugural GB Amateur Boxing Championships. By 2010, Natasha had successfully claimed five ABA Championships wins, competing in the 64kg division for Rotunda ABC.
In 2012, Natasha made one of her greatest achievements. After reaching the semi-finals of the 2012 AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships, Natasha incredibly became the first-ever female British boxer to qualify for the Olympic Games. Competing at the 2012 London Olympic Games, Natasha successfully fought off her opponents to reach the quarter-finals but was unfortunately beaten. When she is not fighting in elite boxing matches, Natasha is regularly featured in the media, having previously appeared on the Channel 4 documentary Knockout Scousers and regularly interviewed by Sky Sports Boxing. Natasha has also previously been a Mentor of the Youth Sport Trust, using her stature as a professional boxer to promote sports and healthy lifestyles to young people, and starred on Azam TV to motivate local female amateur boxers to overcome challenges on the route to professional boxing.
