After being recognised as a gifted TV personality, Hand performed roles on Celebrity Ninja Warrior, Come Dine With Me and When Eurovision Goes Horribly Wrong. A year on from his presenting the ITV show, Hand was awarded the Media Eye’s Rising Star of 2018 award.
Prior to becoming the media star he is today, Hand started his career as a runner for the BBC in Ireland. Beginning the role in 2008, he was quickly snapped up for on-screen roles due to his cheeky personality and well-presented appearance. First getting screen time on BBC Blast, Hand continued to develop his talents with the broadcaster, until he left, seven years later, with experience in journalism, presenting, and producing.

Also popular for comparing events thanks to his relaxed on-stage presence, Hand has been the feature compare at Belfast Fashion Week, The Tall Ships Festival and The Invent Awards.
