"I can't thank Michelle enough for an amazing kick-off to an equally amazing Thomson Reuters Design Day. We spend so much of our professional lives honing our craft and the output, that we often neglect to set aside important time for recharging our batteries and reminding ourselves that we have a story that we control. Michelle's session on Changing Mindsets was something that our entire team found valuable, relevant, and super approachable. Great vibes and positivity going out into the universe!" - Amy, UX Director, Thomson Reuters
"I have been working with Michelle for the past 6 months. She has helped me no end. I would go as far as saying she helped change my life. Not only did we talk about nutrition, but we also talked about my overall health, what I was doing for work, how I was interacting with people. She made me look at my health as my whole life not just what I eat. She is very knowledgeable and she not only knows her stuff she has simple suggestions that can help, make longer-term changes. She is flexible, non-judgemental and an all-round superstar. If you are thinking of working with Michelle, just one warning. IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!" - Alys, Chief of Staff, Octopus Electric Vehicles
"A personal experience I need to share Something that happened a week ago in a room of 40+ L&D specialists… I was lucky enough to be part of the L&D 3.0 gathering at the offices of Empiric. The standout session for me was the 45 minutes that could have easily also been five minutes or two hours (total loss of time tracking, which I’ll explain in a minute) led by Michelle Flynn. A facilitated session on breathwork. How to breathe, better. The power of nitric oxide and its regenerative repair work on your lungs. And I felt it in the moment and for days after. What I suddenly remembered from biology was the term for the first phase of breathing- INSPIRATION And the guided breath work was exactly that. Closing your eyes in the company of others and relaxing into the rhythm of the music. Focusing your mind on the right questions is an amazing experience. I felt tingles in my fingers and across my face. Holding my breath at intervals between bow breathing sessions created higher levels of consciousness of things I take for granted. Because it’s always on autopilot. I lost track of time as I became more internally focused on how I breathed and the effect it had on the rest of my physiology. I had a heightened awareness of my core, intercostals and depth to which I could breathe. The state of mindfulness it gave me stayed with me through the weekend. And I would massively recommend people investigate the benefit of breath work. When that investigation turns into curiosity (which it will) then talk to Michelle and book her to lead breath work sessions in your business. It’s a game-changer. The foundations for happiness, success and fulfilment start within. I’ve been aware for a while (and focused my attention on) the benefits of – Sleep. Movement. Nutrition. Gut health. Now added to my regime – Breathing." - Jeremy Snell, World-Class Trainer & Coach
"Michelle’s delivery is exceptional, her style is conversational, yet professional. She engages the audience with ease, encouraging them to participate. Credible within her field of expertise there’s no judgement, just pragmatic steps to improve our overall wellbeing, whilst acknowledging we’re all human and not perfect! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend working with her to support the wellbeing of your workforce. I’m looking forward to what we can do next." - Claire, Wellbeing Lead, Unipart
