Laura Hamilton has enjoyed a highly successful career in the television industry, renowned as the Presenter of A Place in the Sun for Channel 4 and a Live Feature Presenter for This Morning on ITV. Having forged her reputation as an avid TV presenter across a variety of children’s channels, including Boomerang and CITV, Laura is a familiar face to millions of people of all ages across the country. Today, aside from her dedicated staple presence on British TV, Laura is also highly sought after as an event host. A career that has since blossomed into stature as a household name, Laura’s esteemed career began as a runner for Dermot O’Leary at Channel 4. Most recently, in 2022, Laura joined the presenting team of This Morning, a role in which she presents a variety of live features on location – often displaying her detailed knowledge of property honed on A Place in the Sun. As an avid property expert, Laura has developed 16 properties, with her first commercial venture titled Lord Roberts on the Green. In this property project, Laura rescued her local village shop, in the process becoming a qualified Post Mistress and a landlady – having set up a coffee shop, bistro and obtained an alcohol licence for the local community hub. Having recently sold Lord Roberts on the Green, Laura is an avid entrepreneur – further adding to her depth as an event host and keynote speaker. When she is not committing her time to property development or presenting, Laura is an avid philanthropist. Currently, she is an Ambassador for WellChild and the Children’s Trust Tadworth, using her platform and followers to make a difference in many children’s lives.
