Krushnaa Patil

Krushnaa Patil is a renowned mountaineer, who previously made history as the youngest Indian woman to successfully climb Mount Everest. Having also climbed other challenging summits, Krushnaa has claimed countless awards, including being named as a Young Indian Leader in 2010, and is now a popular addition to events as a keynote speaker. When booked as a speaker, Krushnaa shares anecdotes from her adventures, along with topics such as the leader inside us, channelling team dynamics to success, rethinking peak performance and today’s emerging roles.

An avid mountaineer, Krushnaa has made many firsts with her passion. She is best known for formerly being the youngest Indian woman to summit Mount Everest at 19 years old, and she also became the youngest person to climb Mount Satopanth in the Garhwal Himalayas at 18 years old. Alongside her mountain scaling, Krushnaa has also taken part in other challenges, including a 3000m cycling rally from Kolkata to Kanyakumari, scuba diving in Tarkarli, rafting in the River Ganges and parasailing in the Solang Valley. She has also participated in the Extreme Trails Nissan X-Trail Driving Rally for National Geographic and Wipeout India.

Krushnaa has also attempted to complete the Seven Summits, but unfortunately, her attempt was cut one short after complications summitting Mount Denali. She has also summited mountains including Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Makalu, Mount Vincent Massif and Mount Draupadi Ka Danda. When not climbing mountains, Krushnaa has also completed horse riding through the Andes and the Go Green Girls Cycling Expedition. In reward of her commitments, Krushna has claimed awards such as the Rotary International Award, the Today’s Youth Asia Award, the Rajiv Gandhi Award, the Citadel Young Achiever Award, the Mitcom Young Achiever Award and the Zhansi Ki Rani Award to name but a few.

With a successful career as an adventurer to her name, Krushnaa is now available to hire as a speaker for a range of corporate and public events, formerly invited to deliver five different TEDx talks.
