Kilian Jornet Burgada

Kilian Jornet Burgada is one of the world’s leading adventurers, who describes himself as a 360° athlete and has forged a reputation as a world-class sky runner, ski mountaineer, long-distance runner and trail runner. He is famed for holding the fastest known time for the speed record of the ascent and descent of both Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn, and has also held speed records for Kilimanjaro, Denali and Aconcagua. Also the holder of the 24-hour uphill skiing record, Kilian is now available to hire to speak on his daring feats and inspire future generations of budding adventurers.

From a young age, Kilian has been at one with the mountains, first climbing the 3000m tall Tuc de Moliéres aged just three years old. From that point on, Kilian has been climbing mountains and performing daring sky running and mountain running competitions. To date, Killian is a ten times Skyrunner World Series champion, claiming the Gold medal in the Sky and Ultra disciplines. He is also a two times Ski Mountaineering European Championships Gold medallist, four times Ski Mountaineering World Championships Gold medallist, a three times Skyrunning World Championships Gold medallist and four times Skyrunning European Championships Gold medallist.

Kilian has also claimed victory in countless ultramarathons, including winning the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc, Grand Raid, Hardrock Hundred Mile Endurance Run and the Western States Endurance Run. Outside of completing his daring endurance races, Kilian has also launched the Summits of My Life project, in which he is aiming to set ascent and descent records for the most important mountains across the globe. So far, Kilian has achieved this on Mount Everest, Aconcagua, Denali, Matterhorn, Mont Blanc, Kilimanjaro and Elbrus peaks (some now broken).
