Jennie Gow is a renowned motorsport broadcaster who is best known for her work in Formula One. With over a decade's worth of experience in the sport, Jennie is one of the few women who have been able to make headway in this predominantly male sport. As a keynote speaker, Jennie is known to speak on diversity and inclusion, motorsports, and understanding disability.
Starting her career in Formula One back in 2010, Jennie has appeared as one of the F1 experts on Netflix’s Drive to Survive documentary that began airing in 2019. Jennie has also been one of the most prominent hosts and presenters for the Formula E Championship from its very first season back in 2014. Jennie’s journey as a motorsport broadcaster began at Sky TV, and she has since worked at all the leading broadcasting channels such as BBC and ESPN. As a BBC Radio 5 Radio 5 pundit, Jennie has also been nominated for the SJA Best Radio Documentary of the Year for the BBC James Hunt special.
In 2022 Jennie unexpectedly suffered a stroke which affected the skills that were vital to her career – her reading, writing and speech. She spent the following months working on overcoming these arduous impediments, displaying tenacity and great drive and determination. Overcoming the hurdles, Jennie returned to the paddocks in August 2023, resuming as a commentator for Formula 1. Jennie is also a commentator for the Extreme E racing series and an Ambassador for FIA Girls on Track – paving the way for more women to be part of this sport.
Having interviewed motorsport champions like Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel, Jennie has been Host of the Fast Talkers podcast. She has hosted numerous live events such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed, The Motorsport Hall of Fame awards, the FA Women’s Cup, and the T20 Cricket World Cup. She is one of the most accomplished broadcasters in the sports world and has dedicated her efforts towards ensuring that the landscape of the sport is diverse, inclusive, and equitable.
