Ja-Naé Duane

Ja-Naé Duane is an award-winning innovator, speaker, author, serial entrepreneur, and renowned behavioural scientist. She is the co-founder and Managing Partner of The Revolution Factory, an organisation dedicated to helping other businesses transform and grow effectively. With 20 years of experience, Ja-Naé’s expertise in utilising global systems, VR, AI, and blockchain technologies to develop systems of the future for businesses is unmatched. 

Despite her background in music and opera, Ja-Naé has dedicated her career to helping start-ups and multinational companies implement new business models on a global scale. She founded Wild Women Entrepreneurs in 2005 and has been a professional speaker since 2009. Ja-Naé has also held various lecturer, Head, and advisory positions at universities such as Northeastern University, Clark University, Emerson College, College of the Holy Cross, Bentley University, Singularity University, Brown University, and MIT. She was also the VP of social media and Strategy at Overdrive Interactive, Director of Innovation and Accelerator Programme at Constant Contact, a Company Advisor at Hemmings House, and is currently an advisor for Teleportec and a Virtual Reality Research Collaborator at VCR Lab. 

She is currently a Loomis Council Member at The Stimson Centre, a CCP Mentor and Faculty Member and Academic Director of the Master’s Programme in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship at Brown University School of Engineering, an Academic Research Fellow at MIT’s Centre for Information Systems Research, and Chairman of the Board at Gaia Venture Studio. Ja-Naé is the co-author of the bestselling ‘Start-Up Equation’ and her newest book ‘SuperShifts’, which dives into evolving technologies and how to best lead and thrive in the coming world. 

Recognised for her technological brilliance by The Associated Press, NPR, Fast Company, PYMNTS, FoundedByWomen.org, and more, Ja-Naé has worked with global brands such as PWC, Saudi Aramco, Yum Brands, Samsonite, Natixis, AIG, and Deloitte. Ja-Naé also discusses the economics of the Metaverse, entrepreneurship, AI, and technology. She is set to speak at SXSW 2025, where she will host an immersive workshop based on her newest book.
