Gabriel Hamer-Webb is a rising international rugby player, currently part of Leicester Tigers and the Wales national team as a winger. He has also played professionally for Bath, Cardiff and Southland. A keen sportsman from a young age, Gabriel had trials with multiple football clubs before choosing to pursue a rugby career. He joined his local rugby pathway at the age of 14 and signed a senior academy contract with Bath in 2019, playing for the Under 18 side and helping them achieve their most successful season to date. He made his premiership debut with Bath shortly afterwards and scored his first try for the club in the European Rugby Champions Cup two weeks later. He also played for the England youth team, part of the squad for the 2020 Six Nations Under-20s Championship. After a brief stint in New Zealand with Southland in 2023, Gabriel signed with Cardiff and during this time, he joined Northampton Saints on a short-term contract. He signed for Leicester Tigers in 2025 and has demonstrated remarkable consistency within the team. Committing his international future to Wales through his mother’s influence, Gabriel was called up to the Wales national team in January 2026 and made his international debut against Scotland a month later, where he earned his first senior cap.
A valuable player on the team, Gabriel became the first Tigers player to score five tries in a competitive match and has helped Leicester Tigers lift the Premiership Cup in 2026. Outside of his rugby career, he is also involved in the fashion industry as the co-founder of the clothing brand Banton Ltd and is an experienced model.
