Greg Bateman

Greg Bateman is a current Leicester Tigers player who can play as either a prop or a hooker. Greg is a product of the Harlequins Academy and prior to his move to the Leicester Tigers, played for Dorking RFC, London Welsh and Exeter Chiefs. Signing for the Tigers in 2015, Greg scored his first try for the club against Italian side Treviso in the Champions Cup.

Away from the pitch Greg is a fantastic after dinner speaker focusing on his career in business. After watching fellow professional’s careers come to an end prematurely due to injury, Greg wanted to ensure that when the day came that he had to hang up his boots he was prepared and able to have a career to support himself and his family.

After becoming interested in entrepreneurship, Greg decided to go into the property business. Currently part of two innovative schemes, Greg has successfully taken the lessons he has learned from the sporting world into business and provides fantastic motivational speaking to companies.

One of the projects Greg is involved in is the Thriving Spaces, an accommodation service based in Leicester who provide luxury apartments. People can stay for short or long periods of time depending on their circumstances with some guest having been known to stay for over a month at a time.

Greg is also the director of the Huddle Property Group, a company which helps people invest into properties. Having managed businesses and sales campaigns before his rugby days, Greg is in a great position to offer advice and guidance on business issues.
