
Dr. Camilla Pang is a computational biologist, award-winning author, and advocate for neurodiversity and systems thinking. She is a compelling and sought-after speaker who blends scientific insight with personal experience to advocate for neurodiversity and systems thinking.
Camilla’s professional career began in computational biology after completing her academic training, where she earned a PhD in Bioinformatics. During her studies she worked on AI-driven drug discovery and biomedical research, applying systems biology to understand disease networks and therapeutic targets. Her early work equipped her with knowledge for the rest of her career, allowing her to bring a unique lens to conversations about the about the future of work, science, and systems change. Camilla’s career reached new heights after releasing her breakout book Explaining Humans, which won the Royal Society Science Book Prize. This made her the youngest winner and the first woman of colour to receive the award.
