Beginning her career as an Editorial Assistant for The McGraw Hill Companies, Rachel later became Content Manager for Brahm, a Project Manager for Gapwork and the Founding Managing Director of SugarCat Publishing. In 2018, Rachel began her journey as a Neurodiversity Consultant and Trainer for Sparkle Class, training organisations on how they can be inclusive of neurodiversity in the workplace and ensure that neurodivergent people are supported in all walks of life. Pushing the importance of not needing another ‘awareness course’, Rachel emphasises the importance of truly understanding neurodiversity – not just being aware of neurodiversity but understanding enough to really make a difference in neurodivergent people’s lives.
Rachel also provides training for neurodiverse people, providing them with advice without making them feel uncomfortable. In such training, Rachel focuses on a neurodivergent person’s strengths whilst tackling the challenges that they face, touching on subjects such as communication, mental health and time management. When hired as a speaker, Rachel covers topics such as the power of change: learning to live as a weirdo, what is neurodiversity and why should you care about it, what accessibility is and how you can be truly accessible and LADyHD: why ADHD looks and feels different in women and girls. When she is not found speaking or consulting, Rachel is volunteering for the Neurodiversity Association.

We peaked at around 325 people in the audience at one time, and it seems like roughly 380 people joined across the length of the call which is really great for us and higher than we have seen recently for these kinds of calls!
