David Hull-Watters

David Hull-Watters is a leading inclusion and wellbeing consultant, who has claimed several awards for his commitment to ensuring not only a more inclusive workplace but a more inclusive future for all. He is an Associate Consultant and Trainer for the Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion and EMBED Inclusion. He was also awarded the Vodaphone World of Difference Award for his pioneering work and is now a popular choice as a speaker for corporate and public events, discussing his expertise in neurodiversity, conscious inclusion, inclusive leadership and recruitment, inclusive language, disability confident practice and allyship and LGBTQ+ issues.

Best known for his work as an inclusion and wellbeing consultant, David is a Conscious Inclusion & Cultural Enhancement Specialist. Throughout his career, David has made it his mission to make the world more inclusive and has founded the RESPECT Program and the Give ‘em Hope Campaign. The RESPECT Program is a leading academic management program that tutors and provides support based on the Equality Act of 2010. The Give ‘em Hope Campaign is a movement to celebrate diversity, helping those who feel marginalised or isolated to share their story. He began his career working as a Learning Development Coordinator for American Express Europe, where he coordinated training and recruitment needs. He later became the School Manager and Learning Coordinator for Greenwich Theatretrain, a role in which he was responsible for the smooth running of the establishment and enhancing the welfare of the student body. David has also been a writer for Ambiente Magazine, a freelance writer on equality and diversity and has written the foreword of Retreating Forward: A Spiritual Practice with Transgender Persons.

David is also the author of Never Blend In- LGBTQ+ Stories of Resilience and Empowerment and has worked with Equal Love UK to take a legal case to the European Court of Human Rights as a champion of marriage equality. Forging a reputation for developing inclusion agendas with consideration for LGBTQ+ employees, David has claimed several awards. He has been the winner of the Vodaphone World of Difference Award and the National Diversity Award 2014. He was also nominated for an Excellence in Diversity Award in 2015 and has been shortlisted for the 2015 European Diversity Award, the Diversity Champion Award: Education Sector at the 2017 Excellence in Diversity Awards and Corporate Vision's Most Dedicated Inclusivity Trainer 2023.

A thought leader in diversity and inclusion, David has served as a Sexuality Lead for National Hate Crime Awareness Week and worked with the Metropolitan Police as a facilitator of reflective practices for recruits.
