British Olympic speaker and Paralympic swimmer Claire Cashmore has taken part in a number of Paralympic Games in spite of her young age; with London 2012 her most successful to date Claire continues to train and is also working as a sports speaker at specialist disability and Paralympic after dinner speaker events. Born in Redditch in 1988 Claire Cashmore is physically disabled as she was born with only one arm; taking up swimming at a young age Claire has gone on to become one of the most iconic Paralympian’s and Olympic speakers of her generation.
Claire made her professional world debut aged just 16 where she qualified for the Athens Games; Claire’s Olympic success began there and she returned from the 2004 Games with two bronze medals.
