Bruce Daisley is renowned for shaping the age of social media and technology as we know it, having formerly worked as the Vice President of EMEA and the UK Managing Director of Twitter. Today, he has left the world of social media management behind and is instead committed to creating improved workplace cultures. The Host of the No.1 Apple Business Chart-Topping “Eat Sleep Work Repeat” Podcast, Bruce is dedicated to improving working cultures on a global scale and helping executives better understand organisational behaviours. With a refreshing perspective on workplace culture, Bruce has already worked with the likes of Google, Chanel, Burberry and Red Bull to name but a few, emphasising his authority as a workplace culture keynote speaker.
Bruce’s embark into the digital world began as the Digital Sales Director of Emap. Following promotion to Head of Sales and Digital Director for Emap, Bruce’s nine years of experience caught the eye of his next employer – taking on the role of Director of YouTube & Display for Google. Under this title, Bruce was widely responsible for leading YouTube in the UK, shaping various aspects of the platform that we use and love today. Following three successful years with Google, Bruce was appointed as the UK Managing Director of Twitter in 2012, growing and developing Twitter in the UK, before being selected to take on the role of Vice President of EMEA for Twitter in 2015. His tenure with two digital giants has well informed his perspectives on the ever-changing corporate landscape in the new digital era.
Leaving Twitter as the most senior leader outside of the United States, Bruce’s career took on another trajectory, shifting his focus to creating stellar workplace cultures. In 2020, Bruce began his podcast Eat Sleep Work Repeat, and since he released several books on organisational culture – including No.1 Sunday Times Bestseller The Joy of Work and Financial Times Best Business Book of the Year, Fortitude. Bruce’s expertise also extends to publications in The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, The Washinton Post, the Harvard Business Review and The Wall Street Journal to name but a few prestigious publications. With his acclaimed workplace culture podcast now having been listened to over five million times, Bruce’s stature has seen him become an Honorary Visiting Professor at Bayes Business School.
