Aron Gelbard

Aron Gelbard is a renowned entrepreneur, highly respected for having created the world’s most loved and fastest-growing flower company. As the Co-Founder and CEO of Bloom & Wild, Aron has spearheaded the development of Europe’s leading direct-to-consumer flower and gift company, which is now sold in eight global countries. Following education at the University of Oxford, Aron began his corporate career as an Intern for Air Liquide and a Consultant for OC&C Strategy Consultants. Returning to education, Aron achieved an MBA from Harvard Business School, which helped him to secure roles as a Product Marketing Intern for Google and a Consultant, Case Team Leader and ultimately a Manager for Bain & Company. Having built comprehensive expertise in strategy, performance improvement, consumer products and retail, Aron embarked on his entrepreneurial venture in 2013, co-founding Bloom & Wild.

Sitting at the helm of Bloom & Wild, Aron invested £30,000 in savings to create his business, dominating the market of sending flowers and gifts -  going from £400,000 turnover in 2014 to a staggering £145m in 2021-22. Due to his commitment, Bloom & Wild have been the recipient of countless awards, including Online Flower Retailer of the Year at the 2021 Fresh Awards and 2023 Online Floral Retailer of the Year. In addition, Aron has also become a passionate advocate for sustainability, pushing for Bloom & Wild to become a certified B Corp, signifying a commitment to long-term positive change for the world around us. This commitment to sustainability is further emulated in his role at FareShare UK, a leading charity redistributing food waste and reducing CO2 emissions. Aside from such commitments, Aron is also a Pledger for Founders Pledge and an Ambassador for Huckletree.
