Andrew Pozzi

Andrew Pozzi is a highly talented hurdling athlete, having claimed several titles and wins already in his career. Coached by the former coach of Colin Jackson, Malcolm Arnold, Andrew is known for holding the record for the fastest run by a UK junior hurdler. Amongst competing in his beloved sport, Andrew is also booked to speak at corporate and after dinner events. Best known for his talents as a hurdler, Andrew is an Indoor World and European Champion in the 60m hurdles. Also known as the second-fastest hurdler, just 0.01 seconds behind Colin Jackson, Andrew has been selected to represent Britain on several occasions, including at the London 2012 Olympic Games. Named as the 2011 Outstanding Athlete of the Year at the UK Athletics Awards, Andrew is an inspirational athlete marking his name in the history books.

After establishing a passion for athletics, Andrew first started his career competing for Stratford AC. As his talents developed, Andrew then went on to compete in the National Junior Athletics League as part of Avon Spa. When Andrew began his senior hurdling career, he made a great first impression winning the first 7 races of his senior career. His first major senior win came at the 2017 European Indoor Championships, taking home the Gold medal in the 60m hurdles. Prominent medal wins for Andrew include a Gold World Indoor Championships medal, a Gold European Indoor Championship medal and a Silver European Junior Championship Medal. At the 2022 Commonwealth Games, Andrew claimed Bronze in the Men's 110m Hurdles.

Outside of athletics, Andrew has also upskilled himself with an MSc in Business Management from the University of West England. He has also worked short stints at FPS Distribution and Credit Suisse, gathering business knowledge which he uses as a speaker to discuss the intersection of sport and business. Now often booked as a speaker for corporate and after dinner speaking events, Andrew shares his success as an athlete, along with qualities of drive and determination that he needed to hone in order to succeed.
