Andreas Dengel

Andreas Dengel has enjoyed a successful career in the sectors of scientific research, computer science, technology and academia. From working as a scientific director to a professor of computer science, Andreas has forged a notable reputation and is now booked as a speaker for corporate events. Best known for his distinguished career in AI and technology, Andreas is currently the Scientific Director of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence where he commands the Knowledge Management research department. He is also widely known for his role as a professor at the University of Kaiserslautern and Osaka Prefecture University, working in the Computer Science and Intelligent Systems Department of the Graduate School of Engineering. Also the co-founder of the Institute for Document Analysis and Knowledge Science, Andreas has continually made astounding contributions to the education sector and has claimed countless awards for his achievements. Andreas has previously been the recipient of the Pioneer Spirit Award, the ICDAR Young Investigator Award, the Technical Communication Award from the Alcatel SEL Foundation and the Nakano Award to name but a few.
