Adam Kingl is an author and leading educator in the world of business and leadership, holding teaching roles at University College London, The University of Cambridge, and the University of British Columbia, amongst other highly respected institutions. The former Regional Managing Director for Duke Corporate Education, Adam has worked with a range of prestigious organisations, including Abu Dhabi Development Holding, Disney, Deloitte, McDonald's, Shell and Tata, to name a few. As a speaker, Adam applies a practical perspective to important topics, such as generational paradigms, the future of work, strategic innovation, management innovation and how to leverage culture, empowerment and engagement in work-life balance.
A leading educator, Adam supports the next generation of leaders in business, politics, academia and civil society. His expertise is used in the UK and abroad, with several major education providers calling on his knowledge. He is a member of the Adjunct Faculty at the Irish Management Institute at University College Cork, Hult International and University College London School of Management. In addition to those organisations, he is also an instructor at Imperial College Business School, Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, and Hanken Stockholm School of Economics. He also holds a position at Headspring Executive Development, a joint venture between the Financial Times and IE Business School, and is an instructor at the Moller Institute at Churchill College, University of Cambridge. During his time with the London Business School, Adam led flagship courses, including the Accelerated Development Programme.
Before a career as an educator, he was the Regional Managing Director for Duke Corporate Education after spending a spell as the company's Managing Director. During his time at Duke, the company was named the second-best in the world for custom work in the Financial Times’ Executive Education rankings. Before that, he was the Executive Director of Thought Leadership and Learning Solutions at London Business School. He has also worked as a senior consultant at Just Add Water and been an associate at Saatchi & Saatchi and the Management Lab. Adam was a member of the CLIP steering committee for the European Foundation for Management Development. In 2020 he published Next Generation Leadership and recently published his second book Sparking Success. He has also written for and been interviewed by leading publications, such as The Guardian, Fast Company, Forbes and The Financial Times.
