Dr. Paul Victor

Dr Paul Victor is a decorated business consultant who is dedicated to improving business strategy, leadership and change management. Today, Paul is the Managing Director of Vmax Consulting, having dedicated three decades of his career to strategic change leadership and driving performance through cultural transformation. Working closely with business leaders, Paul is highly commended for his plans of transformative change, which he carefully designs, develops and executes with a human-centric approach. 

With over 30 years of experience in leadership and change management, Paul’s career initially began as a Police Officer for Nottinghamshire Police. Serving in the force for 8 years, Paul learned the intricacies of discipline, before applying to study at the University of Leicester in 1992. Graduating with a Master’s Degree in Organisational Behaviour Studies from the University of Leicester, Paul later went on to secure a PhD in Integrative Organisational Change from The University of Salford – forging the foundations of his successful corporate career. In 1990, Paul was appointed as the Head of Succession & Career Management for the National Grid, a role in which he was responsible for remits that changed the workplace culture of the organisation. He was then appointed as the Head of HR for United Utilities, specifically for the North West Water business, developing training and personal development strategies. 

For the following six years of his career, Paul was committed to his roles at Bentley Motors. Initially appointed as the General Manager of HR, Paul worked his way up the ladder to the role of Director of Change Management for Bentley Motors Ltd. In this role, Paul worked tirelessly to manage the HR function of the business, leading multi-union negotiations, developing effective leadership practices and competence frameworks across the company. Embedding the Bentley performance culture, Paul made a significant impact on cultural alignment in the business and truly forged himself as an industry-leader in human resources and change management. In 2002, Dr Paul became the MD of Vmax Consulting and has since coached clients across 28 countries, five continents and 16 industry sectors. 

When hired as a speaker or consultant, Dr Paul Victor helps to facilitate significant business growth through change. Travelling globally to share his proficiency as a coach and speaker, Paul has spoken to clients in Australia, North America, India and Europe.
