One of the funniest comedians of recent times, Sean Lock began his comedy career as a stand-up and won the British Comedy Award in 2000 for the category of Best Live Comic. Well known for his television appearances and radio, Sean is a permanent fixture on a multitude of shows whilst also writing a large amount of material for his fellow comics, including Bill Bailey, Lee Evans and Mark Lamarr. An ideal personality for events and private functions, Sean entertains and interacts with guests performing to client’s briefs, ensuring a laughter filled evening.

Crediting Frank Skinner and Eddie Izzard as major influences on his comedic style, Sean has acted as a team captain on Channel 4’s 8 Out of 10 Cats since its start in 2005 as well as making regular appearances on The Big Fat Quiz of the Year. With a knowledgeable and witty persona, Lock frequently appears for screenings of BBC’s Have I Got News for You and QI.

Sean can take on a number of roles at an event, including acting as an event host to ensure proceedings run smoothly and on time whilst interacting with guests to make sure everyone has a wonderful time. Locke’s ability to improvise and ad-lib makes him an ideal personality for events or live television. Sean excels at delivering a set or speech as a comedian at after dinner events.
