The English comedian, Nathan Caton, is regarded as one of the funniest entertainers on the circuit. With his laid back style, personal stories and topical anecdotes he’s an accessible, hilarious comedian for all ages. Regularly featuring on the BBC, he is a fan favourite amongst comedy lovers.
Born and raised in Hammersmith, London, the performer found his love for comedy whilst completing an A-Level in Drama, a passion that continued throughout his Architecture degree at Anglia Ruskin University. Despite being the first in his family to graduate, Nathan chose to pursue a career as a comedian instead.
Since the age of 19, Nathan’s comedy stand-up shows have been a hit with audiences. Over the last decade, he has confirmed himself as a star of TV radio and a prominent circuit headliner. Since breaking into the industry, Nathan has earned accolades including the Chortle Student Comic of the Year award and the Broadcast Hotshot. Additionally, he has written and starred in the Comedy Central show named The Nathon Caton Show and the children’s series, Rastamouse.
Amongst the other highlights in his career, Nathan appeared on the witty show Comedy Cuts on ITV, after he was spotted performing at the Edinburgh Festival. Riding off of his TV success, Nathan went on tour in 2012, travelling the country with a stand-up show named Get Rich or Die Cryin. Within the same year, he created the Radio 4 series, Can’t Tell Nathan Caton Nothing, which explored his life story, from going against his parent’s wishes to becoming a famous comedian.
Showing no signs of slowing down, he appeared in the Radio 4 programme The Now Show, which incorporated a sketch of a news story about John Terry. When Justin Bieber’s 2013 UK tour supplied Nathan with new material, he returned to the circuit to pass his satirical review.
From the moment he broke into the scene as a promising comedian, to the established stand-up performer he is today, Nathan is a comedian for all audiences. With his years of experience, any show including Nathan will be one to remember.
