Glamour model, media personality and bodybuilder, Jodie Marsh, began her career when she appeared on ITV documentary Essex Wives in 2002. From this first appearance on TV, Jodie received a number of modelling jobs and launched her career as a glamour model.
Since her break into modelling, Jodie has appeared on a variety of reality shows, including E4’s Fool Around With…, Channel 4’s The Games and Come Dine With Me, on which she won £1,000 for charity. In 2006, she won a celebrity episode of The Weakest Link before competing in Celebrity Big Brother 4. She has since made a plethora of appearances on Big Brother’s Big Mouth, Big Brother’s Little Brother and has returned to the show as a judge during a bodybuilding task.
Throughout 2008, Jodie appeared on MTV’s Cribs, Channel 4’s It’s Me or The Dog and Discovery Real Time’s London Ink premier episode. A DMAX one-off documentary entitled Jodie Marsh Tattoo Apprentice aired in 2010. Jodie is a vocal anti-bullying activist, having appeared on a number of programs to speak about her past experiences and the effects bullying has had on her own life; Channel 5’s Bullied: My Secret Past, and her own Channel 5 show Jodie Marsh: Bullied in which she travelled to the US to discover how bullying is dealt with in American schools.
Since 2009, Jodie has been an avid bodybuilder. She has been featured on a range of TV shows discussing her new physique, including an hour-long special 6 Pack in 4 Weeks on LA Muscle TV Channel. In 2012, Jodie had two DMAX network shows, Jodie Marsh: Bodybuilder and Jodie Marsh: Brawn in the USA, the latter of which saw her win gold in the Los Angeles INBF Bodybuilding Championships.
