In 1999, colin moved to Edinburgh so had to find a new rugby team to play for. He began studying at the University of Edinburgh and joined the Watsonians rugby team. When Colin was in his last year studying at Edinburgh University he had the remarkable chance to represent Scotland in rugby, playing at the 2003 Hong Kong 7’s. In 2008 Colin had the chance to play for the West of Scotland rugby team, followed by the Dundee HSFP and the Glasgow Hawks in 2010. As well as all of those teams, Colin was also given the chance to play over 130 games for the Glasgow Warriors as well as the chance to be their captain.
