New Zealand born golfer Sir Bob Charles OBE is known as being not only one of the greatest left-handed golfers of all time but, arguably one of the greatest golfers of the last 100 years. Continuing to play well into his seventies, Sir Bob also works as a popular golf speaker and makes appearances at both corporate and charitable events.

Beginning his professional career in 1960 Sir Bob Charles OBE has gone on to play in all the major European and global golfing tournaments. His achievements include: winning the PGA Tour 6 times, the European Tour 4 times and the Champions Tour an impressive twenty three times! Notably, Sir Bob holds a particularly rare talent of being a left handed player, and he became the first to of which to win a golf Major.

For his unwavering commitment to the sport, Sir Bob was made a Knight Companion of New Zeland in 1999 and became the fifth recipient of the European Senior Tours’s Lladro Lifetime Achievement Award in 2002. Furthermore, to celebrate his long-lived success, Sir Bob was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2008 and was invited to become an ,Honorary Member of The Royal and Ancient Golf Club in 2016.
