Zoe Le Grand is highly passionate about helping the world’s leading organisations to give more than they take, by helping them to devise ambitious sustainability strategies. Working as the Managing Director of UK/Europe for Forum for the Future, Zoe co-leads one of the biggest teams at Forum for the Future, working towards their mission of achieving a just and regenerative future. In her role as Managing Director, Zoe is responsible for working on the Purpose of Business, leveraging and accelerating change. With such detailed expertise on achieving sustainable change, Zoe is now a popular choice as a keynote speaker on sustainability, who has previously worked with companies such as Nestle, Unilever and Walgreens Boots Alliance.
Having graduated from the University of Sussex in Contemporary History, History and Social Sciences, Zoe began her career working as a Senior Policy Officer for Constructing Excellence – a role in which she was responsible for reporting on surveys and chairing the internal sustainability group. Later progressing to become the Project Manager for Constructing Excellence, Zoe returned to education in 2010, graduating in 2012 in Business Strategy and the Environment, Management, Environmental Science and Environmental Policy from Birkbeck, University of London. During her studies, Zoe began working as a Senior Sustainability Advisor for Forum for the Future, managing relationships with the firm’s partners – working with clients such as Thames Water, Severn Trent, Bupa, Kingfisher, Unilever and M&S.
Since then, Zoe has also worked as a Principal Sustainability Strategist and the Associate Director of UK/Europe for Forum for the Future, before being promoted to Managing Director of UK/Europe in 2023. During her time working for Forum for the Future, Zoe has orchestrated great change, having become the Co-Founder of The Net Positive Project – an initiative that brings together companies such as Target, Dell and AT&T to build the movement of becoming net zero. When she is not dedicating her time to accelerating a sustainable future with Forum for the Future, Zoe can be found working as a Mentor for Catalyse Change CIC, and she has also previously worked as an Advisor for North Somerset Council.
Now hired as a popular keynote speaker, Zoe is renowned for her expertise in sustainability and how to become net zero. A seasoned speaker, Zoe has formerly spoken at events such as Green Biz and UN Conferences, along with acting as a Visiting Lecturer at Harvard University.
