Hannah Pathak is an experienced leader in climate change, sustainability and risk management. Former Director of UK and Europe and current International Managing Director of Forum for the Future, Hannah is a proficient professional facing global challenges. As a passionate advocate for environmental change, she is part of transformational projects and speaks on climate adaptation, humanitarian response, strategy and future trends as a highly sought-after sustainability keynote speaker.

In her position as International Managing Director at Forum for the Future, Hannah implements initiatives that transform global systems, whilst using future scenarios to understand the potential risks and opportunities of the future. Beginning her career in 2005 as an Expedition Recruitment Manager at Earthwatch, Hannah was later promoted to Regional Programme Manager of Europe, MENA and India and the Global Programme Director of the Earthwatch Institute. In such positions, Hannah was renowned for her work in leading the world’s largest corporate/NGO initiative in the environmental sustainability sector - the HSBC Climate Partnership and the HSBC Water Programme. Later, Hannah joined Rescue Global as Director of Engagement, reaching the position of Deputy CEO in 2017. Since the start of her career, Hannah has managed and developed cross-sector partnerships with militaries, government agencies and academia, making her an innovative and award-winning NGO dedicated to changing the narrative of our planet.

Hannah has great experience working alongside leadership teams in multinationals to construct and implement strategies and leading field operations in humanitarian disaster response missions. With her recognition of environmental issues, Hannah can educate an audience on tackling climate change and effective sustainability actions, such as mitigation, adaptation and resilience-building.
