Yuko Nakahata is an influential speaker on ESG strategy and sustainability-focused business transformation. Beginning her career in sales, Yuko has developed a broad range of skills in business management and strategy. She became CEO of Smart Inc. after working as a sales manager for only three years prior. She then founded her first venture, Partir Inc, an independent recruitment consultancy, at which she also served as CEO. Following this, she joined the team at Honour Circle H.K. Limited as an area manager of business development SEA and APAC. Yuko climbed her way up the company, moving to Chief Administration Officer, Business Development Director and Executive Vice President before serving as FVG Inc. Group Accounting Manager / Global Business Development RFID. Yuko also briefly served as an independent board director for both Jelly Beans Group and Hourakuen Holdings Corp. She founded her sustainability company SustainaSeed in 2021 and currently holds senior board positions at NAC CO. Ltd and Tameny.
Alongside her professional career, Yuko holds a certificate from the Hong Kong Management Association, as well as two Harvard Business School Online qualifications in sustainable business strategy and sustainable investing. Yuko is a Corporate HR Management Industrial counsellor, Third Door Women’s Career Support Circle Leader, and a Japan Association of Corporate Directors member. She is a She Loves Tech Japan finalist and has been published in numerous articles, such as the HR Business Journal, Fabric News, and B-Ing. She has also spoken on multiple podcasts and radio shows, like Podcast Venture crews, J-Smile, and News Zero.
