Will Hussey

Will Hussey is an award-winning, best-selling author and keynote speaker who specialises in positive change, resilience and human flourishing. As a leading voice on the Science of Flourishing, his biggest achievement lies in transforming schools and organisations through practical, research-informed behaviour change that delivers lasting cultural impact.

Will began his career in education after completing a degree in Physical and Adventure Education at Bangor University. He spent 24 years as a teacher and senior leader across schools in Lincolnshire and Peterborough, gaining deep, practical insight into leadership, learning and performance. Those early years grounded his philosophy in lived experience rather than theory alone. Will saw how easily potential can be dulled by routine and how powerful the right mindset can be in unlocking progress. Determined to extend his impact beyond the classroom, he founded Write and Shine Limited in 2014, stepping into the role of Managing Director, and later joined Art of Brilliance in 2016 as a Trainer, working alongside respected colleagues Oliver Cope, Darrell Woodman, Hannah Knowles, Jonathan Peach, Martin Burder and Suzie Lavington.

Over the years, Will has built a reputation as an award-winning best-selling author, publishing more than ten books focused on growth mindset, resilience and sustainable improvement. He co-authored 'Zest', 'Diary of a Brilliant Kid' and 'Brill Kid' with Dr Andy Cope. His latest title, ‘Resilience 2.0: Embracing Challenge & Change’, reflects his belief that thriving in uncertain times requires deliberate action and self-awareness. As both Managing Director of Write and Shine Limited and a senior trainer with Art of Brilliance, Will has delivered keynotes and workshops to audiences across the UK and internationally, from primary schools to major organisations. His sessions combine behavioural science, positive psychology and practical frameworks, delivered with warmth and energy.
