Highly educated himself, Wayne possesses a BBusSc in Marketing from the University of Cape Town, an MSc in Human Ecology, Sustainable Development and Environmental Economics from the University of Edinburgh and a PhD in Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Nottingham. Wayne is currently a Professor at the Antwerp Management School and is responsible for leading research and teaching in the area of sustainable innovation.
Wayne’s illustrious career has seen him work as the Director of Sustainability Services at KPMG, Visiting Professor at Warwick Business School, and Vice President of Sustainability Services at Omnex Inc. to name a few. Author of over 40 books, he has written titles such as “Purpose Inspired”, “The Quest for Sustainable Business”, “Life in Transit”, “The A-Z of Corporate Social Responsibility”, and most recently “Thriving”. Wayne also frequently contributes as a columnist for The Huffington Post and The Guardian.
Recognised as a Top 100 thought-leader in trustworthy business and a Top 100 global sustainability leader, Wayne is a respected figure in his field. A prolific speaker, he has delivered over 480 keynote speeches in over 78 countries around the world.
