Alexandra Palt

Alexandra Palt is a leading authority in corporate responsibility and sustainability. On a mission to build both a sustainable and inclusive world, Alexandra has tirelessly worked to ensure that the sustainable practises of L’Oréal go beyond what is expected. Determined to introduce and encourage programmes of sustainability, Alexandra is now a popular choice as a sustainability speaker for a range of corporate events.

Sitting at the forefront of encouraging sustainable business, Alexandra is currently the Executive Vice President of the L’Oréal Foundation and the Chief Sustainability Officer of L’Oréal. With L’Oréal, Alexandra has played a significant part of the company’s sustainability programmes, such as creating and directing Sharing Beauty With All Commitment. She has also been responsible for liaising with stakeholders of L’Oréal to ensure that their strategic suppliers are part of their mission for sustainability.

A graduate of the University of Vienna and the University of Cambridge, Alexandra studied in Sustainability Leadership before embarking on her successful career with L’Oréal. Before joining L’Oréal, Alexandra worked as the VP Promotion of Equal Opportunities for HALDE and the Founder and General Manager of Fabric of Society. The Fabric of Society was an advisory, actioning corporate social responsibility and change management in relation to sustainability, a testament to Alexandra’s commitment to a sustainable planet.

Today, Alexandra is working to champion the future sustainable practises of L’Oréal. She is leading the L’Oréal for the Future campaign, a campaign encompassing the company’s targets for sustainability by 2030 and radical transformation. As part of this campaign, Alexandra is passionate about reducing L’Oréal’s footprint environmentally by 60%, making sure that 100% of its products have social or environmental benefits, allowing for sustainable practise whilst still enhancing beauty, involving suppliers in sustainable programmes and providing 100,000 people access to work from underprivileged communities.

Her efforts to achieve sustainability have allowed Alexandra to establish a reputation as a popular speaker for events. She has previously been a speaker at the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society and was also an instrumental figure in launching Women4Climate, acting as a mentor for both 2017 and 2018 Women4Climate events. Alexandra is also passionate about women’s rights and asylum rights, having previously participated in the Preparing Young Women to Lead programme.
