Tracy Nilsson

Tracy Nilsson is a world-leading sustainability executive, famed for her former role as the Senior Director of Global Environment for Adidas. After completing a BA in Arts, Environmental Studies and Economic Development at Western University and a Masters in Environmental Studies and Sustainability Science, Tracy’s first major role saw her work as the Regional Sustainability Manager Asia for IKEA Group. Working in this role for nine years, Tracy was responsible for the management of social and environmental compliance teams and developed green procurement policies for the IKEA chain. She later became the Director of the Thai-Canadian Chamber of Commerce, before becoming the Acting Director of Corporate Social Responsibility and Ethical Sourcing for Boutique Jacob Inc. - where she successfully implemented the first ethical sourcing code of conduct and programme worldwide.

Other prominent roles of Tracy’s have included being the Supply Chain Environmental Manager for PE International and the Director of Global Sustainability for Lululemon Athletica. She joined as the Senior Director of Global Environment for Adidas in 2015, where she developed and integrated the global environment strategy, reduced manufacturing energy by 23%, reduced landfill diversion by 90% and introduced the concept of reducing carbon by 30% by 2030. Now, Tracy is the Elected Fashion Chair of the Charter Steering Committee for the UNFCCC and the Head of Global Sustainability for ISS A/S.
